MUCI News! - 2010 Request for Proposals issued.

The Michigan Universities Commercialization Initiative invites proposals from its member research institutions' Technology Transfer Offices (or their equivalent) for Technology Commercialization projects.

Please note that this Request for Proposals has been modified compared to previous MUCI award cycles due to funding limits.

What is MUCI? (pronounced "mucky")

MUCI (Michigan Universities Commercialization Initiative) is a collaboration designed to complement and enhance the technology transfer at Michigan academic and research institutions by supporting commercialization of Intellectual Property.

  • Manage the MUCI Challenge Fund, which provides awards to commercialization projects at member institutions.
  • Engage in joint activities to disseminate information in the field of technology transfer
  • Facilitate the development of performance indicators related to technology transfer, and mechanisms to report these data
